Holiday Initiatives

We are hoping you can make this holiday season bright for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We have a variety of ways for you or your organization to get involved.

Care Kits

Create individual bags containing basic hygiene products, and deliver them assembled to GRACE on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday between 10am-6pm. For more information, contact Amy Abuqawod at [email protected] or call 352.792.0800 x119.

Individual Holiday Meals

For $20 per meal, you will be providing full course meals to former guests of GRACE who are now housed and receiving case management services. These meals will be prepared in our Café, then individually portioned and hand delivered to folks in their homes during the holidays. Your partnership covers the cost of the meal, plates, plasticware, and staff time. Thanks to Queen of Peace Catholic Community, Thanksgiving Dinner is sponsored! For more information contact JT at 352.792.0800 x131 or [email protected]

Blanket & Coat Drive

Donate your new or lightly used blankets and coats to people experiencing homelessness in our community. Drop them off at GRACE on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday between 10am-6pm or contact Amy Abuqawod at [email protected] or call 352.792.0800 x119 to schedule a pick-up of your items.

Housewarming Baskets

Help provide basic move-in items for folks in our community who just moved into housing and make coming home feel like an occasion! Purchase the items and pack them up, or make a donation to GRACE and we will take care of the rest. Contact Amy at 352.792.0800 x119 or [email protected]

Bagged Meals

Pack individual bagged meals for folks who are unable to make it to the meals served at Café 131. 50-75 assembled bags are preferable, but any will be appreciated. For more information contact Amy Abuqawod at [email protected] or call 352.792.0800 x119
