JC used to own his own business and home, but he lost everything after his divorce. JC has been homeless and has been living in a tent for the last 30 years. After JC met our Street Outreach Team, he worked with them and our Housing Specialists to find a home! For the first time in 30 years, JC now has a roof over his head! Although he is suffering from cancer, JC cannot wait to begin working on getting his health back on track from the comfort and peace of his own home!

Jennifer came to GRACE when she felt like she was out of options and losing hope. However, Jennifer was determined to put an end to her homelessness. Jennifer now has a roof over her head and a place to call her own, all because of her perseverance and hard work!

Eugene and Carl both came to GRACE as a result of different circumstances. However, the two bonded and formed a strong friendship while they worked with our Housing Specialists to end their homelessness. Eugene and Carl are HOUSED, and their friendship can continue to thrive from their very own home!

Before leaving, Eugene told our Shelter Operations Manager he was thankful and will never forget the people at GRACE.

After running into problems with obtaining his benefits, Glenn came to GRACE. With some help from our Housing Specialists, Glenn fixed the issue and moved back into housing! He even moved right back into the same apartment he had previously had to leave! Now, Glenn is back home where he belongs.

For the past 13 years, Janice has found herself homeless and alone after her son's early, tragic death. With nowhere to go and no family to rely on, Janice was in and out of different shelters. Then she heard of GRACE. Janice came to GRACE with a plan of working hard to get a house to call home no matter what! Janice has officially fulfilled her goal and now has a place to call her own!

Walter's smile says it all... Walter is HOUSED! Walter is a veteran and came to GRACE after falling on tough times. Upon arriving at GRACE, Walter focused on finding a home to call his own so he worked diligently with our Housing Specialists and our Veteran Program Manager. His dedication paid off and Walter secured his own housing with the help of HUD-VASH!

Ronald has been working at a local restaurant for the past three and a half years. Although he has been working long and hard, he found it difficult to accumulate enough savings to get back on his feet after falling on hard times. Focused on finding a solution to his housing situation, Ronald came to GRACE. With Ronald's dedication combined with support from our Housing Specialists, he now has a place to call home! Tonight, Ronald can sleep in his own bed after a long day at work!

Debra was supposed to stay with her family, but when that fell through, she turned to GRACE. From the moment she came to GRACE, Debra worked with our Housing Specialists and put all her energy into finding a place she could finally call home. Her dedication paid off, and now Debra is HOUSED!

Angelia and Bernard struggled to find a place to live and came to GRACE together when they didn't have anywhere else to go. Although they felt they were down on their luck, they never gave up hope! They worked diligently with our Housing Specialists, and the couple's luck finally turned! Angelia and Bernard are HOUSED! Not long after they moved in, Angelia was ready to invite everyone over for their first Sunday dinner in their new home!

Raymond and his daughter Ashley are legally blind. They came to GRACE with many obstacles to face: not only did Raymond and Ashley need to find a safe place to live, but one that could accommodate their needs and their dog, Oreo. Together they worked tirelessly with our Housing Specialists and our Diversion & Housing Locator to find the home they deserve. Their hard work paid off, and now Raymond and Ashley have a home of their own, complete with a big backyard for Oreo to play in! Raymond, Ashley, and Oreo are HOUSED!!

When he first came to GRACE, Corey was focused on saving up his money and was nervous about having his own home. Corey wasn't sure if he was ready, but once he began working with his Housing Specialist, he decided it was time to have a place to call home. Because of his courage and dedication, Corey is HOUSED and can work toward his dream of attending music school!

Before Corey moved into his new home, he thanked everyone he worked with at GRACE for helping him on his journey to housing.

Michelle came to GRACE after getting herself out of a toxic situation. She needed her own place to call home and worked diligently with our Housing Specialists. Because of her dedication, Michelle wasn't at GRACE very long and now has a home with the safety and privacy she deserves!
