Roger and Carol are a senior couple who lived with their son for many years as he cared for them. When their son unfortunately passed, Roger and Carol found themselves both grieving and experiencing homelessness. During this tough time, the couple made their way to GRACE. Roger is a veteran, and the two were supported by not only our team, but also by Veterans Affairs, Community Resource Paramedicine through GFR, and Volunteers of America. These community partners ensured that Roger and Carol have an ongoing support system with any follow-up care they may need!
Roger and Carol thanked GRACE for the assistance we provided in their time of need and expressed their excitement to peacefully spend the rest of their days with their partner of 60 years!
